Prepaid User helps you track your prepaid electricity meter balance, log purchases, and analyze your usage. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
The app saves the following information in a private database on your device only: meter balance readings, electricity purchase records (amount, units, vendor fee), and your preferences (currency, cost per unit, theme, notification settings). This data never leaves your device except through the backup features described below, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or use the in-app Factory Reset.
Two optional mechanisms keep your data safe, both storing it in your own Google account — never with us:
appDataFolder). You authorize this with your Google account, and only
this app can read that folder. You can delete the backup at any time from
Google Drive settings (Manage apps),
or by revoking the app's access at
myaccount.google.com/connections.The developer has no access to your Google account or your backups.
The app displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, and coarse device data to serve and measure ads, as described in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before serving ads, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings > Manage privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to tell us how the app is performing and when it breaks. These report:
What is never reported: your meter readings, your purchases, the amounts you paid, your currency or cost-per-unit settings, your Drive backups, or anything that identifies you personally. We cannot see your data and we do not receive a copy of it.
These statistics are linked to the app's AdMob account, so Google can report ad revenue alongside app usage and use them to improve ad performance.
Firebase processes this on Google's infrastructure; see the Firebase privacy and security information and the Google Privacy Policy.
Beyond the usage statistics, crash reports and advertising data described above, nothing. The app has no user accounts and no servers of our own. We cannot identify you and we do not sell any personal information or share it with anyone other than Google as described above. The only third party processing data in the app is Google (Firebase, AdMob ads and, if you use it, your own Google Drive for backups).
The app is a utility for managing household electricity and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
